Kids N' Tennis, Inc. and the Portland After School Tennis Program will sponsor two summer tennis camps this year. They will be held at Irving and Peninsula Parks. These camps will consist of USTA/NJTL, USA Tennis 1-2-3, and USA Team Tennis. The USTA/National Junior Tennis League camps are designed for children who are beginners or knew to tennis. All other players should attend USA Tennis or USA Team Tennis Camps. All USTA/NJTL lessons will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 10:15 a.m. USA Tennis 1-2-3 and USA Team Tennis will start at 10:30 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m.

The summer camps will consist of four two-week sessions. In the event of postponements some sessions may be combined. Staff will be present at all sites on rain days so please call if you have any questions about the daily schedule. We will have a special Regional Rally (tennis celebration) for all participants on Thursday, July 26 at Irving Park. The cost for each session is $25.0o per child but scholarships are available to help reduce camp fees. Tennis racquets and balls will be provided but children must wear tennis shoes to practice. No black sole shoes, sandals, street shoes, please. Children will not be allowed to play if that lack the proper footwear.

If you have any questions then call 503-880-0582 and ask for Don Johnson. Pre-registration will begin in early May. Information on the camps will be delivered to local elementary and middle schools.
